Our 5th grade students enjoyed visiting the State Capitol. While there, they toured the building and were able to visit with Representatives Welton and McKell.



Last week we celebrated "Counselor's Week." Mr. Gowans is constantly helping students to be successful. We are so glad that he works at Spring Lake!

Our kindergarten held a Royal Tea Party to culminate their literacy unit in kings and queens. It was so fun to learn about royalty!






Kindergarten recently had their Teddy Bear Picnic. They read bear stores, had a bear inspired snack, and wore their pajamas. Their bears helped them do math and bear writing too. What a beary good day of learning!




Kindergarten celebrated the 100th day of school. They made a 100th day super snack and counted to 100. Best of all, they are 100 days smarter! We love our students!







Mr. Ewell's class did a fabulous job performing "A Christmas Carol" today!









Students were thrilled to have many Christmas visitors today!






Our Spring Lake Choir did an incredible job in their Christmas performance! They have been practicing every Thursday since school began. Their hard work and dedication were evident.




First grade and fifth grade came together to teach each other what they learned about ancient civilizations.

Our students and teachers had an amazing time participating in the traditional Gobble Off competition! Everyone loved showcasing their best "gobbles."

Congratulations to Ms. Bringhurst, our Skills Coach, for being voted classified employee of the year. We appreciate all that she does for our school.


Spring Lake students participated in our Turkey Trot tradition today. They loved running with friends during recess!

"AMERICA SINGS” This assembly provided a fun and educational musical experience for students. The assembly celebrated America’s rich musical heritage and featured traditional American songs along with original music composed on the spot with the students. The program encouraged students to discover how to use their talents and to keep America singing.

Congratulations to Mrs. Braden for being the 2024 Crystal Apple recipient! Mrs. Braden works tirelessly to ensure student success and happiness (even when it means dressing up as a witch). We’re so grateful to have her as a fourth grade teacher!
