On October 24th, Spring Lake School's first graders were treated to a hauntingly delightful time as the 9th Grade Peer Leadership Team from Payson Junior High visited our school. The first grade students eagerly participated in a variety of spooky games such as Monster Tag, Ghost in the Graveyard, and spine-tingling spooky stories. The peer leaders took charge ensuring everyone had a memorable experience filled with laughter and fun.
This event not only provided a fun break for the students but also fostered a sense of community and mentorship between the older and younger students. The 9th graders were thrilled to interact with the first graders, sharing in the Halloween spirit and making meaningful connections. The day was a fantastic success, leaving both groups eagerly anticipating future collaborations and activities.
