We are so happy to have Mrs. Andersen as a technician in our CIC class this year! She is from Pleasant Grove and loves to go hiking or do anything outdoors with her husband. She's excited to be at Spring Lake, and we're excited to have her here!

We're so happy to welcome Ms. Quarnberg back to Spring Lake! She is a former student Hawk and is back this year as one of our reading technicians. Ms. Quarnberg graduated from Payson High School and is in the Elementary Education program at UVU. She loves being outside - hiking (she recently hiked Mt. Timpanogos!), camping, riding 4-wheelers, and watching movies in the canyon- and she'll be getting married to her high school sweetheart this October! Ms. Quarnberg is looking forward to working with kids to help them enjoy reading as much as she does; we're looking forward to having her back at Spring Lake!

Although Mrs. McGee isn't new to our school, you probably knew her before as either Ms. Rachel or Ms. Bringhurst. We're so happy to have her back as a third grade teacher this year! Mrs. McGee loves everything that brings light and joy, including puzzles, musicals, travel, singing in the kitchen, singing in the car, singing to students, reading, chocolate, homemade bread, puppies, dirty sodas, babies, being silly, flowers, exercise and sunshine. The greatest joys of her life are her family, including her new husband, four children, and 4-year goldendoodle Evie. Welcome back Mrs. McGee!

Welcome to Spring Lake, Mrs. Porter! She is from Southern California and loves the beach and the sun. Mrs. Porter spent some time at Spring Lake last year as a university student, but you might have known her then as Ms. Geurts, but she recently got married! Mrs. Porter enjoys reading, watching and playing sports, baking, skiing, and watching movies. We're so excited to have her as a hawk!

We're so excited to have Mrs. Hermansen at Spring Lake! Her background is in Special Education, and she will teach our new 5th grade CIC class this year. Mrs. Hermansen is from Spanish Fork and has family all over Payson. She and her husband welcomed their first baby in January and are loving being parents. When she's not teaching, Mrs. Hermansen loves being outside with her family. She also loves cows, the color green and Dr. Pepper. Mrs. Hermansen is excited to be a part of the Spring Lake family, and we're so excited to have her!

Welcome to Spring Lake! Mrs. Burningham will be teaching second grade this year. She's from Mapleton and is married to her high school sweetheart. She loves to travel, read, go camping and horseback riding. We're so excited to have you at Spring Lake this year!

Go to LINQCONNECT.COM (http://linqconnect.com/), Click the "School Services" drop down menu and then choose "Free & Reduced Meal Application"
Remember, if families had a free or reduced eligibility last school year, they still need to apply.  The eligibility does not carry over from year to year.

The 2025-2026 school year is in the books! The end of the year has been busy with assemblies, a talent show, and parties.

We are so excited to welcome back former Spring Lake students who will be graduating from Payson High this year. The annual Grad Walk will take place on Monday, May 18 at 9:30 AM.

After 37 incredible years, Mr. Ewell is retiring. Join us as we celebrate him at his retirement open house tomorrow from 4:00-5:30.
